ACR | 1:00 PM: Teen Craft: This week's craft? EDIBLE SLIME! Play with your food and make goopy, delicious, edible slime! Participants can even take it home and share with the rest of the family! 

OAK | 10:30 AM: Family Movie: Now showing: Peter Rabbit. All films G-PG. 
OAK | 1:00 PM: Teen Movie: Now showing: Star Wars The Last Jedi. Film rated PG13. Come on by to make your very own sword based on the film!

ACR | 1:00 PM: Teen Craft: This week's craft? Hand art! Bring out the artist in you by creating unique, inspirational, and visually arresting images with your hand! 

OAK | 10:30 AM: African Dance
OAK | 1:00 PM: Teen Craft: This week's craft? Painted Treasure Rocks! Be creative, use your artistic talents, and create vivid paitings on smooth rocks!

Kudos Board

Hey everyone, 

Debra has created a Staff Shout-out Board at both OAK and ACR. If you see one of your coworkers going above and beyond with a customer, organizing an area in the library, or even lending a helping hand with a fellow coworker, please give them a shout-out on the board! 

Possible incentives at the end of the month will be given by management for the staff member with the most kudos.

A Warm Welcome!

On 02/08/18, our very own Ana and Brittany went to Durkee Elementary for an Outreach, and here is how the school greeted them! Not only did they set up the table for them and add balloons, they also had treats. Way to make HPL feel welcome!

Hello Everyone, 

The courtesy phone at OAK is no longer available due to a staff member being attacked by a customer using the phone.

Children needing to call for a ride can be assisted by staff making the call for them. So that all emergency situations can still be handled.
